Time Travelers, the day has come. You get to hear our voices talking about things! The inaugural episode of Podcast to the Past is finally here!

Click below to hear our first foray into Sci Fi Ephemera…we introduce ourselves, tell some of the story about how we came together to begin creating Causality, then launch into discussions about some of our Science Fiction influences and loves. Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Star Trek, and Star Wars are mentioned (for the first and certainly not the last time), and we muse about a potential future podcast segment featuring one of our own who is absent for this episode.

In an odd twist of events, we also try to figure out which of the Beatles some of us would be, muse about elusive nice days in Seattle, and tell the first of many stories about one of our cast and crew “bonding experiences.”

New episodes of “Podcast to the Past” (hashtag #PttP on Twitter) will be posted every other Monday, and they will feature a rotating lineup of Causality team members including Creator/Writer/Actor/Producer Glynis Mitchell, Creator/Writer/Producer Michael Montoure, Director/Actor/Producer Ralph Fontaine, Actor Carolynne Wilcox, Composer/Sound Designer Jesse Plack, and more.

Please leave comments below about what you think of the shows, and what you’d like us to talk about in upcoming Podcasts. Thanks for listening!

I wanted to point out that the Bechdel test is more stringent than Glynis had it (though I have no doubt Bridesmaids meets it): (1) It has to have at least two women in it, (2) who talk to each other, (3) about something besides a man. I thought they also had to have names, but that’s just icing on the cake.
