It’s the year 2531 and Dr. Genesee is about to start a new life.

This is the prequel mini-episode we’ve been talking about for a year now. We’re VERY proud of it, and hope you’ll watch and let us know what you think. Much more to come!

Oh, and if you haven’t seen our “behind the scenes” video of the Dr. Genesee shoot, it’s worth a look (Lucky Charms, green boots, Psychedelic 70′s music, and RUSSIANS? Yes.)

I’ve seen lots of “it came from the heart and not from the studio” stuff, and usually, it falls short. What I just saw in this prequel mini-sode does NOT fall short. This is excellent stuff, and I am extremely intrigued by all of the possibilities here. The premise is great, and the execution far exceeds anything anyone would have any right to expect from a production where the craft service consists of – literally – a box of Lucky Charms. And when I say “far exceeds,” I mean “ready for prime time.” Seriously. Amazing work, everyone. I am officially hooked, and eagerly await more.

Thank you so much! Well…the Lucky Charms were a coincidence. We actually have a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America doing meals and crafty for us. Also their was whiskey for the “martini shot”!

Ah! So awesome! And I am simply amazed at the production values. No wonder it’s taking longer than expected. Well worth the wait!
