We’ve had a “season one trailer” posted here before, about a year ago — but that one was kind of thrown together at the last minute to show at our lobby table at Norwescon, and … [ read more » ]

In this episode of our Podcast, we talk with Ziggy from DoomCheez.com, and it gets…Interesting. Personally, I felt like Ziggy and Glynis showed their vast intelligence, and I just showed…derp. But we did discuss the deoderant of the future, Rule 34 and a whole heck of a lot more. Have a listen, won’t you? And don’t hold it against me. Pretty much since the beginning of this adventure of creating a webseries (wait- “independent television” is the new word that we’re using. It’s less limiting and perhaps doesn’t carry the stigma “web” content does. Sorry, side rant. More on that at another time.) we’ve been saying that one of our dreams is to someday be on a panel at a Con where fans know more about our show than we do. You know, like those Star Trek fans that are constantly correcting writers and producers who don’t remember every … [ read more » ]
Time Travelers, the day has come. You get to hear our voices talking about things! The inaugural episode of Podcast to the Past is finally here! Click below to hear our first foray into Sci Fi Ephemera…we introduce ourselves, tell some of the story about how we came together to begin creating Causality, then launch into discussions about some of our Science Fiction influences and loves. There are the titles that have become mainstream, that even many who wouldn’t count themselves as fans of Sci Fi are very familiar with (Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, etc.) There are cultish titles that self-described geeks spend a ridiculous amount of time analyzing, wishing there were new installments of, talking about, and creating fan fiction/websites/art about (Firefly, Dune, etc.) Then there are the cross genre creations that are described … [ read more » ]

You know what? I don’t hate the fact that Alcon Entertainment/Warner Bros. are poised to get the rights to produce material based on the situations and possibly characters in Blade Runner. In case you didn’t know, the deal is very close to being signed, which means that it is very likely that in the not-too-distant future, there will be Blade Runner prequels or sequels. Don’t get me wrong, if I had heard that they were re-making the same story as the original, this post would be a lot different. I’m … [ read more » ]

I made my usual weekly post yesterday, but just had to write again about being asked that question. Twice in the last week I’ve been asked by different friends, “When did you become such a Geek?” Typically, people are identified with that term well before my age. I mean, you can’t help but spot a geek right? They look like Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons, despise social or athletic activities, never had a girlfriend (or boyfriend), are out of shape, and have rows of graphic novels and figurines of … [ read more » ]
